CHAPTER ONE - Opportunity Knocks! |
I have always answered the door when opportunity knocks! I have met many nice people and have come across many opportunities. Opportunity may have knocked at your door and you may not have recognized the knock.
There have been so many opportunities that have come my way, it is hard to narrow down as to which was the best. However, there is one opportunity that I would like to share with you, on which I made a very tidy profit.
I was working at a Tuesday Only Flea Market/Swap Meet, and working in a booth across from me was a nice couple selling silk flowers. When I was not busy at my own booth, I would stroll over to their booth, look and then, buy, and buy silk flowers.

I could not stay away from their booth. I kept looking over at the silk flowers and ideas just kept jumping in my head. Their prices were so incredible, unlike prices I had ever seen before. I just kept buying and buying!
We struck-up a conversation and discussed what great bargains they had and I was so excited to have found them. I told them I knew I could take the silk flowers and double/triple my money on each flower that I had purchased. They agreed with me and asked if I would be interested in purchasing some larger quantities; "Yes, of course" I answered!
We visited for a while and then they asked if I would be interested in getting into my own silk flower business... |
